## About Matterport with LuumenAI

Connect Matterport and your 3D capture library becomes something you can query from the terminal. Search models across sites, pull the details on a single scan, check which room classifications are in use, and see what webhook callbacks are registered for model events. When a model needs to be archived or removed, that change is previewed and approved first. Luumen authenticates with basic auth.

## Example tools

Read-only (4 in total):

- `MATTERPORT_MODEL` — Retrieve detailed information about a single Matterport 3D model by its ID.
- `MATTERPORT_MODEL_EVENT_WEBHOOK_CALLBACKS` — Retrieve a list of registered webhook callback configurations for model events.
- `MATTERPORT_MODELS` — Retrieve a page of Matterport models with optional search and filtering.
- `MATTERPORT_ROOM_CLASSIFICATIONS` — List all room classifications defined for Matterport room classification models.

Write and destructive (2 in total, approval required by default):

- `MATTERPORT_DELETE_MODEL` — Permanently delete a Matterport model.
- `MATTERPORT_UPDATE_MODEL_STATE` — Change a Matterport model between active and inactive (archived) states.

## Frequently asked questions

### How does LuumenAI connect to Matterport?

Authorize once with Basic auth. Luumen lists the scopes each action needs before you approve the connection, and credentials never appear in the chat.

### Can LuumenAI change things in Matterport on its own?

Read actions answer immediately. Anything that writes is shown as a plan and requires approval by default, including the 1 action classified as destructive. Administrators configure that per tool.

### Is there an audit trail?

Every call to Matterport — read or write, approved or declined — is recorded with the actor, the input, and the result.
