## About Maintainx with LuumenAI

Connect MaintainX and your maintenance records become something you can ask questions about from the terminal. Look up an asset, check which location it sits in, read costs on a past work order, or check part stock. When it's time to act, Luumen drafts the work order, comment, or new location and shows it to you before anything is written. Authentication is by API key.

Authorize once with API token. Luumen lists the scopes each action needs before you approve the connection, and credentials never appear in the chat.

Read actions answer immediately. Anything that writes is shown as a plan and requires approval by default, including the 2 actions classified as destructive. Administrators configure that per tool.

### Is there an audit trail?

Every call to Maintainx — read or write, approved or declined — is recorded with the actor, the input, and the result.
