# Cronly integration for LuumenAI

Read cron, certificate, and server monitors, then add new checks with approval

## What LuumenAI can do with Cronly

LuumenAI connects to Cronly with an API token and exposes 10 tools (3 read-only · 3 write · 4 destructive). Reads answer immediately; writes are shown as a plan and require approval by default, configurable per tool by an administrator.

## Key facts

- Authentication: API token
- Tools available: 10 tools (3 read-only · 3 write · 4 destructive)
- Plan: available on all plans
- Category: Monitoring & observability

## About Cronly with LuumenAI

Connect Cronly and Luumen can read your monitors, projects, certificates, servers, and crontab backups on request. Ask which nightly jobs are missing a heartbeat, or which certificates expire soon, and get the answer from the live account. When a new monitor or project is needed, Luumen drafts it and shows you the details before anything is created. Luumen authenticates with an API key.

## Example tools

Read-only (3 in total):

- `CRONLY_GET_COMPANY` — Return safe organization, timezone, and subscription-summary fields for the connected Cronly account without exposing billing or integration secrets.
- `CRONLY_GET_RESOURCE` — Get one monitor, project, certificate, user, server, or backup by its resource identity.
- `CRONLY_LIST_RESOURCES` — List notifications, monitors, projects, certificates, users, servers, or backups.

Write and destructive (7 in total, approval required by default):

- `CRONLY_CREATE_CERTIFICATE` — Create an SSL/TLS certificate-expiry monitor for a hostname and port.
- `CRONLY_CREATE_MONITOR` — Create a cron-job heartbeat monitor and return its ID and sensitive pulse token.
- `CRONLY_CREATE_PROJECT` — Create a project for organizing Cronly monitors and certificate checks.
- `CRONLY_DELETE_CERTIFICATE` — Permanently delete an SSL/TLS certificate monitor by numeric ID.
- `CRONLY_DELETE_MONITOR` — Permanently delete a cron-job monitor by numeric ID.
- `CRONLY_DELETE_PROJECT` — Permanently delete a Cronly project by numeric ID.
- `CRONLY_PULSE_MONITOR` — Record a successful heartbeat for a monitor using its sensitive pulse token.

## Frequently asked questions

### How does LuumenAI connect to Cronly?

Authorize once with API token. Luumen lists the scopes each action needs before you approve the connection, and credentials never appear in the chat.

### Can LuumenAI change things in Cronly on its own?

Read actions answer immediately. Anything that writes is shown as a plan and requires approval by default, including the 4 actions classified as destructive. Administrators configure that per tool.

### Is there an audit trail?

Every call to Cronly — read or write, approved or declined — is recorded with the actor, the input, and the result.
